Isn’t Rontia adorable? We connected because our names are almost exact anagrams of each other – how cool! I love her smile and fun sense of style. She chose this outfit for picture day – pretty chic for an eight year-old!

In Memory

“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful – that’s what matters to me.”

~ Steve Jobs

Walk into any school in a low-income neighborhood and you can see Apple’s amazing impact. Steve Jobs made sure that everyone has access to computer technology – and all the information and inspiration and connection that comes with it. You can find out more about Apple Grants here.

I finally landed an internship at a commercial photography studio, Polara. The creativity, energy, and level of teamwork and quality at Polara is incredible. Yesterday, a shoot was staged in honor of what has always been a beautifully designed product that has so significantly impacted all our lives. See Jeremy Dunham’s striking photos and read Michael Shay’s tribute to the man, the machine and a child’s sense of curiosity here.

“Anytime you get emotion in an image, people are drawn to it.”

~ Seth Resnick

I got to hear Seth Resnick speak last week, and I am beyond inspired. Seth is a master technician, and I love his philosophy towards photography as both an art and a business. Check out his colorful, graphic work here.
